DOOZY:
Twelve songs about the Man, the Beast, the commodification of desire,
and the end of the world. Well, OK, maybe only four or five of them are,
and only sort of. Mostly they're about sensory over-stimulation, system
failure, mechanical circus organs tumbling downhill: discipline and
disorder thumbing each others' noses.
Full-length CD released in May 2000 by ToYo Records. Recorded by
Phil Bonnet in December 1998 at Solid Sound in Hoffman Estates,
Illinois, mixed by Griffin Rodriguez in May and June 1999 at Rax
Trax in Chicago, and mastered by Dave Pavkovic in July 1999 at Truckstop,
also in Chicago. Cover art by B Herman. John Robbins appears on this recording.
